'Attention and Attitudes' is a gathering bringing together curators and artists for a day of exchange and reflection on what gets our attention and our practices' attitudes and approaches to deal with it. The gathering aims to stimulate networks, and collaborations, foster critical thought and share knowledge about artistic and curatorial practices.
The meeting is held in English due to curators from abroad visiting Sweden together with curators from the region. In total about twelve. Participants are expected to present their practice shortly, and the day builds on informal conversations and giving feedback to peer participants. We will be serving lunch and fika. *NKF do not offer any payment to participants.
How to apply:
Email your contact information and a short motivation in English with a reflection on artistic and curatorial exchange. Maximum three sentences. Send it to application@nkf.se
*Apply on May 15, 24:00 at the latest.
We expect to get back to you on May 20.
Who can apply:
Professional artists interested in sharing their practices and giving/receiving feedback are welcome to apply. We have fifteen spots for artists available.
*Artists already admitted to the Network meeting for strategy exchange arranged by NKF on April 26 are not accepted.
