Welcome to a PERFORMATIVE EDITORIAL PROCESS with EDITORIAL BOARD at NKF as part of RISK(U). SUNDAY 27 February 4-6 pm
The emerging collective, Editorial Board, will enact a performative editorial process that incorporates aspects of editing, subjectivity, memory, time and narrative in order to create a new work produced onsite at NFK. In parallel, visitors are welcome to bring exhibitions from memory or text-based materials that can be reinterpreted through Editorial Board’s methods.
Editorial Board originated as a workshop in March 2021 from which nine artists and curators have continued to work together to form the Editorial Board Collective. By analyzing exhibitions, artworks or images about art and reinterpreting them through alternative editorial methods, such as games, the collective seeks to challenge the relationship and norms that exist between texts and exhibitions. Please join us this Sunday 4-6 pm for a sharing of our performative editorial processes. Refreshments will be served!
